About the role

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to take on the role of Advisor Reliability Execution (Electrical) at our Cape Lambert A operations. Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.

Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, you will undertake a range of support activities to enable the safe and efficient performance of the electrical maintenance and shift team.

Working in this collaborative and exciting environment, your primary role will be to act as the link between the planning and execution teams for all electrical maintenance. Day to day your tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Attending all shutdown and breakdown meetings and coordinating with supervisors to align activities with the daily plan and work priorities.

• Working with the operations teams to ensure scheduled work aligns with the production plan.

• Scoping of breakdowns and building breakdown management plans where required.

• Ensuring shift members and contractors understand and comply with HSE working procedures.

• Assisting in identifying training and development needs for team members and provide feedback to the Supervisors.

• Recommending changes to improve maintenance performance, address or negate problems, or capitalise on opportunities, and carry out those changes once approved.

• Assisting Supervisors to conduct performance reviews by providing input to team member’s performance.

• Undertaking acting duties when the Supervisor is absent and liaising with other departments in a professional manner.

What you will bring

• Hold a current "C Class" WA Manual Driver's Licence

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

• Work management experience

• Proficiency in SAP

• Trade knowledge base, with high voltage being highly beneficial

• Great time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload

• Strong communication skills and be comfortable liaising with various stakeholders

• Be highly self-motivated and being able to demonstrate a history of continuous improvement           

• Previous experience in a shutdown execution / coordination environment
