Reporting to the Superintendent, Operations Center, as a Dispatcher Operations Centre – Mine, you will:

• Collaborate with Mine Advisor and Supervisors in order to prioritize and coordinate mine production requirements by identifying equipment /operators to achieve the plan

• Provide continuous production improvement through dispatch system monitoring and effective allocation of equipment and personal

• Provide consistency between shifts through accurate dispatch setup and by informing the oncoming shift of the current pit set up

• Monitoring and reporting on operational performance and providing feedback where required

• Manage the dispatch screen exceptions ensuring data integrity

• Ensuring accurate data is entered into the dispatch system for all equipment through correct and prompt use of operating delay codes, stand-by codes and down codes

• Utilize dispatch to provide a continuous feedback loop through various departments (Maintenance, Mine Operations, Technical Services, and Ore Delivery) to optimize ore production and waste handling

• Work collaboratively within the broader Operations Centre team to optimize across the value chain

What you’ll bring

• Minimum of 3 years of experience, in open pit operations with mining operational experience

• Self-motivated, strong skills to structure and organize work

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

We are a leading North American producer and exporter of premium iron ore pellets and high-grade concentrate with average iron grades greater than 66%.
