Nous sommes à la recherche de deux chargé(e)s de Coordination des opérations de forage et dynamitage qui seront chargé(e)s de coordonner et de superviser les activités de forage et de dynamitage, principalement réalisées par des contractants spécialisés en assurant la planification, la coordination, le contrôle de la performance des contractants et la conformité des opérations, afin de garantir une exécution sûre, efficace et alignée avec les standards du site, les exigences réglementaires et le plan minier approuvé.

Relevant du Surintendant forage & dynamitage, ils/elles auront les responsabilités ci-dessous :
- Coordonner les activités quotidiennes et hebdomadaires du forage et dynamitage réalisées par les contractants (forage, chargement des explosifs, bourrage, raccordement, sécurisation, tir et activités post‑tir), en assurant leur alignement avec le plan minier.
- Assurer une supervision opérationnelle et un rôle d’assurance afin de garantir la conformité des activités des contractants avec les standards et procédures du site de Simandou, la législation guinéenne applicable, la réglementation sur les explosifs et les plans et conceptions de tir approuvés.
- Agir comme interface principale entre les opérations minières et les contractants forage & dynamitage, en pilotant la coordination opérationnelle, les réunions de pré‑démarrage, les réunions de coordination et les interactions sécurité.
- Suivre et analyser la performance des tirs, optimiser la fragmentation, la productivité et les coûts, vérifier l’application des contrôles de risques critiques, des zones d’exclusion et des protocoles de tir, et conduire des actions d’amélioration continue avec les contractants.
- Gérer la réconciliation des explosifs, le reporting et la documentation réglementaire, soutenir la mobilisation des contractants, les inductions et la vérification des compétences, participer aux enquêtes d’incidents, audits et inspections, et maintenir des registres précis en matière d’opérations, de sécurité et de conformité.
Ce que vous apporterez :
- Être titulaire d’une qualification ou d’une formation reconnue en Forage et Dynamitage ou en Génie Minier, avec une expérience confirmée en coordination, support technique ou supervision opérationnelle des activités de forage et de tir.
- Justifier d’une expérience avérée en environnement minier à ciel ouvert, incluant la coordination ou la supervision des activités de forage et minage, ainsi que le travail avec des contractants spécialisés.
- Avoir une bonne connaissance des pratiques de forage et de tir, de la gestion des explosifs, des contrôles des risques liés aux tirs, ainsi que de la législation, des procédures de tir et des exigences réglementaires en matière d’explosifs.
- Démontrer un engagement fort en matière de sécurité, avec la capacité d’influencer la performance HSE et opérationnelle des contractants sans lien hiérarchique direct, et de collaborer efficacement avec l’ensemble des parties prenantes.
- Faire preuve de solides compétences en communication, coordination et gestion des parties prenantes, d’une approche structurée et rigoureuse en planification, reporting et conformité, et d’une aisance à travailler au sein d’équipes pluridisciplinaires dans un environnement de site dynamique.

About the Simandou Project
The Simandou Iron Ore Project is located in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. It is Africa’s largest infrastructure and mining project and represents one of the largest known reserves of high-grade iron ore in the world.
Rio Tinto holds rights to Simandou Blocks 3 and 4 through SimFer, a joint venture between the Government of the Republic of Guinea, Rio Tinto and Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH). Construction of the mine, together with the associated rail and port infrastructure, is well underway with first production from the SimFer mine expected in 2025.
