About the role
We are looking for an Industrial Electrical Tradesperson to join our Main Workshop at NZAS, supporting maintenance and repair of critical site equipment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician to apply strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in a heavy industrial environment while stepping into a more balanced, lifestyle-focused way of working.
Reporting to the Superintendent or Supervisor, you will:

Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance across plant and workshop equipment

Diagnose and repair cranes, machinery and industrial electrical systems

Support contractor work to ensure safe and high-quality outcomes

Mentor apprentices and support capability within the team

Deliver reliable, high-quality repair work within production timeframes

Contribute to a strong safety-first and team-oriented culture
About you

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
-
Registered Electrician with a current practising licence (or transferable AU qualification)
-
Strong background in industrial, mining or heavy process environments
-
Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capability
-
Experience working with large-scale plant, equipment or workshop machinery
-
Ability to mentor others and contribute to a high-performing team
