About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Advisor – Integrated Planning to help bring a system-wide perspective to how we plan, prioritize, and deliver across the value stream.
In this role, you’ll help identify constraints, unlock opportunities, and support better decision-making by connecting insights across teams and assets. Your work will directly contribute to improving product flow and helping RTKC meet and exceed its Annual Production Requirements (APR).
You’ll collaborate with a diverse group of operational, technical, and commercial partners, bringing clarity to complexity and helping teams align around what matters most.
Reporting to the Integrated Planning leadership team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Identify and drive optimization efforts across the value stream, including opportunities that span multiple assets
- Partner with site leadership and planning teams to guide prioritization and support informed decision-making
- Own communication of monthly Value Stream performance, translating data into meaningful insights and recommendations
- Help shape and improve the structure and effectiveness of Value Stream and superintendent-level meetings
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to understand performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Contribute to S&OP governance, including input on purchasing strategies and third-party concentrate timing
- Support cross-functional initiatives, including improvement and SIO projects, while helping evolve performance metrics that strengthen value stream outcomes
- Monitor and interpret Value Stream inventory metrics for Senior Leadership, providing clear, actionable insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
About you
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working across teams, making sense of complex systems, and independently interacting across multiple teams. You may be a great fit if you bring:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and influence across different teams and levels of the organization
- A demonstrated track record of Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement performance
- A degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing, Operations Research, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in mining, processing, or another complex industrial environment
- A solid understanding of system thinking and constraints-based approaches (such as Theory of Constraints)
- Comfort working in environments with ambiguity, where priorities may shift and not all answers are immediately clear
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently while staying connected to broader team goals
- Valid Driver’s License

Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation, including a concentrator, smelter, and refinery, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States. We produce copper, precious metals including gold and silver, molybdenum, and sulfuric acid. Kennecott has been mining and processing minerals from the rich ore body of the Bingham Canyon Mine since 1903 and is one of the top producing mines in the world, comprising approximately 11 percent of U.S. annual copper production.
