About the role
We are looking for a Lead Technology Delivery to lead the regional technology agenda across the Project Data Management (PDM) function for APAC. This role serves as the primary technology representative within the region, ensuring business priorities, operational requirements and regional challenges are understood and reflected in technology planning and delivery activities.
Working in close partnership with the Technology Delivery function, this will be a great opportunity for a team player to drive the regional implementation and adoption of global technology standards, ensuring regional needs are effectively integrated while remaining aligned to enterprise platforms and strategic priorities. Acting as the key interface between operations and technology, the role supports the delivery of scalable, value-driven solutions across systems, reporting, automation and digital capabilities.
Reporting to the Superintendent Project Data Management and working in a high‑performing and complex project environment within our Projects team, you will:
-
Act as the regional technology lead, advising leadership on priorities, risks and opportunities.
-
Represent regional needs in technology planning and align initiatives to business objectives.
-
Support the regional implementation and adoption of global technology strategies, standards and platforms.
-
Lead regional delivery of technology initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, testing and deployment.
-
Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned to both regional requirements and global frameworks.
-
Monitor delivery progress, managing risks, dependencies and implementation challenges.
-
Drive user adoption and support change activities to embed new technologies effectively.
-
Track benefits realisation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and value creation.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
-
A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
-
Strong experience in InEight or other Document Management System and the ability to configure and optimise technology solutions for project needs
-
Experience working in major projects or engineering environments (EPCM/mining preferred), with a solid understanding of project delivery, milestones and timelines.
-
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
-
Agile, delivery-focused mindset, with experience driving system implementation, user acceptance testing, and driving continuous improvement.
-
Technical or IS&T background with exposure to data tools (e.g. Power BI, AI or emerging technologies), with the ability to identify and implement fit-for-purpose solutions would be desirable
-
Experience in other project management systems (e.g. SmartPlant, AVEVA, Bluebeam, Unifier) would be desirable
