Un(e) Surintendant(e) Hygiène Santé et Sécurité Mine
Le/La Surintendant(e) Hygiène Santé et Sécurité mine est chargé assure le leadership et la gouvernance des opérations de Business Services sur le site, en garantissant une performance efficace en matière de santé, sécurité et gestion des sous-traitants au sein d’un portefeuille diversifié de contrats de services de soutien.
En étroite collaboration avec les responsables opérationnels et les partenaires contractuels, il/elle supervisera une équipe de professionnels HSE chargée des activités clés des Services aux Entreprises, incluant l’aviation, le transport collectif, les véhicules légers, la gestion des camps, la restauration, la gestion des déchets, la maintenance des véhicules et les autres services de soutien du site.
Poste basé à Beyla.
Relevant du Manager HSE, il/elle aura les responsabilités suivantes :
- Encadrer une équipe d’agents, de conseillers et de conseillers principaux HSE soutenant les opérations des Services aux Entreprises sur le site.
- Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies, plans et programmes HSE conformes aux normes de Rio Tinto et au Système de Management Intégré HSE de Simfer.
- Assurer la supervision et la gouvernance HSE de plusieurs sous-traitants fournissant des services d’aviation, de transport, de gestion de camp, de restauration, de gestion des déchets et de maintenance des véhicules.
- Veiller à l’application efficace de la Gestion des Risques Critiques (CRM), des contrôles opérationnels, de l’assurance des sous-traitants, ainsi que des processus de déclaration et d’enquête des incidents.
- Suivre la performance HSE des sous-traitants au moyen d’inspections, d’audits, d’interactions de leadership, d’activités de vérification et d’évaluations de performance.
- Collaborer avec les responsables opérationnels pour identifier et réduire les risques liés au transport, aux installations d’hébergement, à la sécurité alimentaire, à la gestion des déchets et aux activités de maintenance.
- Piloter les initiatives d’amélioration continue et soutenir la mise en œuvre du Safety Foundation Plan.
- Renforcer les compétences HSE des équipes opérationnelles et des organisations sous-traitantes grâce au coaching, au mentorat et au développement du leadership.
- Établir de solides relations avec la direction du site, les sous-traitants, les employés, les organismes de réglementation et les autres équipes HSE.
- Soutenir les activités de préparation et de réponse aux situations d’urgence liées aux opérations des Services aux Entreprises.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe selon les besoins.
Ce que vous apporterez
- Détenir un diplôme universitaire en Santé-Sécurité, en ingénierie, en logistique ou dans une discipline connexe, avec au moins 10 ans d’expérience HSE dans les secteurs miniers, de la construction, de la logistique ou des grands projets d’infrastructure.
- Démontrer un engagement exemplaire envers la sécurité, le bien-être des personnes et la promotion d’une culture de sécurité psychologique.
- Diriger, développer et accompagner des équipes multidisciplinaires performantes en favorisant un leadership authentique, inclusif et collaboratif.
- Gérer et superviser efficacement les sous-traitants ainsi que des interfaces opérationnelles complexes afin d’assurer l’excellence opérationnelle et la conformité HSE.
- Communiquer avec impact auprès de parties prenantes variées grâce à d’excellentes compétences relationnelles, écrites et orales en anglais (le français constituant un atout majeur).
- Faire preuve d’initiative, de discernement et d’une forte orientation solutions, tout en évoluant avec efficacité dans des environnements exigeants et en maîtrisant les outils informatiques et de gestion des données (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

About the Simandou Project
The Simandou Iron Ore Project is located in the Republic of Guinea, West Africa. It is Africa’s largest infrastructure and mining project and represents one of the largest known reserves of high-grade iron ore in the world.
Rio Tinto holds rights to Simandou Blocks 3 and 4 through SimFer, a joint venture between the Government of the Republic of Guinea, Rio Tinto and Chalco Iron Ore Holdings (CIOH). Construction of the mine, together with the associated rail and port infrastructure, is well underway with first production from the SimFer mine expected in 2025.
