About the role
We are looking for a Manager, Mobile Equipment Maintenance to lead the mobile equipment maintenance team at Gudai-Darri and help deliver safe, reliable and efficient asset performance.
In this role, you’ll lead people and maintenance outcomes across a technology-advanced operation, working closely with operational teams, functional support teams and original equipment manufacturers.

What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Site General Manager and working in a challenging and exciting operational environment within the Gudai-Darri leadership team, you will be:
• Foster a safety and performance-focused culture that supports the wellbeing of the mobile equipment maintenance team.
• Lead, coach and develop maintenance leaders and team members to build capability, engagement and accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing opportunities that improve maintenance efficiency, reliability and safety.
• Ensure core asset management and maintenance processes are applied to support reliable equipment performance across the asset lifecycle.
• Assess and manage maintenance and asset risks, including assurance activities across the asset lifecycle.
• Oversee large-scale maintenance work, including planning, scheduling, budget management and contractor performance.
• Build effective working relationships across operational and functional support teams and with original equipment manufacturers.
• Act as an alternate Site Senior Executive under the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, with the function described in Schedule 26.

Required for Success
• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
• Proven capability to coach frontline leaders in safety tools and practices and lead teams in a large-scale operational maintenance environment.
• Strong experience in asset management and/or maintenance optimisation, including responsibility for large-scale maintenance work, planning and scheduling, and budget management.
• Practical experience managing contractors in an operational environment.
• A current C Class manual driver’s licence.
• A track record of values-led leadership, with care, courage and curiosity reflected in how you lead people, manage risk and work across operational boundaries.
Helpful for Success
• Experience leading maintenance for heavy mobile equipment, or leadership experience gained in another complex operational maintenance environment.
